1742-1748: War of the Austrian Succession

A cartouche shows the reversed monogram of George II with the Hanoverian crown over. 
            The flintlock musket was now known by its nickname “Brown Bess” and is draped with a Sergeant’s and Officer’s sash. 
            Left; 
            A Private’s hat and hanger and on the right an Officer’s hat and sword, now with a gold and crimson knot.
