Bearing the inscription;

 

Sacred to the Memory of
Captain Fred K. Sime Attree and
Captain Charles Anderson also of
The Non Commissioned Officers and Private Soldiers
of The Thirty First (Huntingdonshire) Regiment
who fell in the trenches before Sevastopol.
This monument is erected by the Officers of The Thirty-First
Regiment
Their companions in arms. AD 1857

 

The Norris Museum, St Ives

There are on display in The Norris Museum a number of medals awarded to Officers and Men of the 31st Regiment. A number of artefacts, breastplates etc are also held, recording the period when the 31st Foot were linked to the County of Huntingdon.
